Clipping Era ("Platform", "we", "us" or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of the creators and brands who use it ("you"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with and the choices you have.
By using Clipping Era you agree to the collection and use of information as described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.
02Information We Collect
Account and profile information
When you create an account and complete your creator profile, we collect:
- Full name and username
- Email address and phone number
- Profile photo
- Country you are based in
- How you heard about us
- Your content experience, the AI tools you use, your niches, the platforms and accounts you post on, your posting capacity and languages
- A sample video link, if you share one
Content and activity data
- Video links and submissions
- Campaign applications and participation
- View counts and performance metrics read from TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and other platforms
- Earnings, balance, referral and payout history
Connected accounts
If you connect Discord, Google or a social media account, we collect your username or ID there to verify you and track your content.
Identity verification information
Before paying you we collect your legal name, date of birth, government ID number (for example a Social Security Number, passport or national ID card number), residential address, and images of your identity document and a selfie, either directly or through our verification provider.
Payment information
To pay you we collect the details of your chosen payout method: bank account details, PayPal email address or USDT wallet address.
Automatically collected information
- IP address and approximate location (country)
- Browser, device type and operating system
- Pages visited and actions taken on the Platform
- The referral or invite link that brought you to us
03How We Use Your Information
We use your information to:
- Create and manage your account
- Match you with relevant brand campaigns
- Track content performance and calculate earnings
- Verify your identity and process payouts
- Meet tax, anti-money-laundering and other legal obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud, including fake views, bots and duplicate accounts
- Contact you about campaigns, payouts and Platform updates
- Improve the Platform, fix problems and build new features
- Enforce our Terms of Service
05We Do Not Sell Your Personal Information
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. In particular we never sell or share for marketing:
- Identity verification information: ID numbers, ID images, selfies, date of birth or address
- Bank, PayPal or wallet details, balances and earnings
- Passwords, login codes and security information
- Your precise location
- Information about anyone under 13
If this ever changes, we will update this policy, tell you in advance and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
06Data Retention
We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we must keep it for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons. Earnings and payout records may be kept for up to 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Identity documents are kept for as long as needed to verify you and meet legal obligations, and then deleted.
07Data Security
We use encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), restricted access for staff, and encryption of identity verification data and documents at rest. Every staff action on verification data is logged. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
08Your Rights and Choices
Access and update
You can see and update most of your information in your dashboard (Profile and Payouts).
Copy and deletion
You can ask for a copy of the information we hold about you, including identity verification information, or ask us to delete it, by emailing teamcreatorsnetwork@gmail.com. We honour deletion requests except where we must keep records by law.
Communications
You can turn off marketing emails at any time in your Profile. Messages about your account, payouts and campaigns are part of the Service and cannot be turned off while your account is active.
Your rights under local law
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, UK or California), you may have additional rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of your data and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact us to use any of these rights; we will not treat you differently for doing so.
09Children's Privacy
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 and will delete it promptly if we learn we have. Users aged 13 to 17 need a parent or guardian's consent to take part in paid campaigns.
11Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. If we make material changes we will tell you by email or in your dashboard before they take effect and, where needed, ask you to accept them again.
