01Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Clipping Era (the "Platform", "Service", "we", "us" or "our"), you ("User", "Creator", "you") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
02Platform Overview
Clipping Era is a performance-based creator network. It connects creators with brand campaigns and pays creators for the verified views their posts receive, as set out in each campaign.
03User Eligibility and Account Requirements
Age requirements
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Platform. Users under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent to take part in paid campaigns.
Account verification
Creators who receive payments must complete identity verification, which may include a valid government-issued identification document, proof of address and tax information.
One person, one account
Each person may hold one account. Accounts may not be shared, sold or transferred.
Geographic restrictions
Some campaigns are only open in certain countries. You are responsible for following the laws, tax rules and content rules of the country you live in.
04Creator Responsibilities and Disclosure
Mandatory disclosures
You must clearly disclose every material connection with a brand, including paid content, free products or any other compensation. Disclosures must be obvious to viewers and must not be hidden in descriptions or hashtags.
- Use clear labels such as "#ad", "#sponsored" or "#paidpartnership", or the platform's own paid-partnership label.
- Put the disclosure at the start of the content, not at the end.
- Make sure it is visible without tapping "more" or expanding text.
- In video, say it out loud as well as showing it on screen.
Content authenticity
You must not inflate views artificially, use bots, buy engagement, repost other people's content as your own, or take part in any other fraudulent activity. If we detect it, we may close your account immediately and the related earnings are forfeited.
AI and synthetic content
AI-generated content is allowed unless a campaign says otherwise. Where a campaign restricts AI content, submitting it may lead to rejection, forfeited earnings and account closure. AI-generated content must be labelled as AI-generated. Content that uses a real person's likeness or voice without their consent is prohibited however it was made.
05Payment Terms
Payment structure
Creators are paid on verified view counts as set out in each campaign: its rate per 1,000 views, minimum views, per-post cap and budget. Earnings for a post are only final once the post has been approved and its holding period has passed.
We may reject, disqualify or decline to pay for any submission, at any time and at our discretion, including where it does not meet a campaign's guidelines, quality standards or brand requirements. A submission may be approved for reporting to a brand without qualifying for payment. Approval does not create a vested right to payment, and we may withhold or reverse earnings on any submission.
Holding period and minimum payout
Approved earnings become available to withdraw after a holding period shown in your dashboard. A minimum balance applies before you can withdraw, and a payout fee may apply where shown at the time of the request.
Overpayments and offsets
Any amount credited, shown or paid to you that you were not entitled to, for example because a submission was later rejected, view counts were corrected, a campaign budget ran out, a brand did not pay, or a system error occurred, is an overpayment and must be repaid. We may recover it by deducting it from your balance (pending or available), offsetting it against future earnings, bonuses, retainers or referral commissions, cancelling a pending payout, or asking you to repay it directly. Where you control more than one account, we may recover from any of them.
Your balance may become negative as a result. While it is negative you cannot withdraw, and a negative balance carries over to any account you open later. You must raise any dispute about an adjustment in writing within fourteen (14) days of it appearing on your account; otherwise it is final. If a negative balance is not cleared within fourteen (14) days of our request, we may treat it as a debt that is due and pursue it, together with reasonable costs of collection, to the extent the law allows.
Fraud
Creators who manipulate views, use bots or commit other fraud must repay all earnings obtained that way, and we may close their accounts.
Tax obligations
You are solely responsible for reporting your earnings and paying any taxes that apply to you. We will issue appropriate tax forms (such as Form 1099-NEC for creators in the United States) for earnings above IRS thresholds, and we may ask for tax information (such as a Form W-9 or W-8BEN) before paying you.
Payment processing
Payouts are sent by bank transfer, PayPal or USDT, as enabled for your country. You must give accurate payment details. Payments sent to details you entered incorrectly may not be recoverable. We follow anti-money-laundering rules and may delay or refuse a payout while we check it.
06Referral Program
How it works
Creators can earn a referral commission, currently 5% of the approved earnings of creators who sign up through their link. The commission is paid by Clipping Era and does not reduce the referred creator's earnings.
Changes
Referral participation is a privilege, not a right. We may change the commission rate, how long referrals are tracked (for example from lifetime to a fixed period), or end the program, and we may suspend or remove anyone's referral status, including for self-referral or misuse. Changes apply to future activity and may apply to existing referrals. Taking part does not create a vested right to future commissions.
07Prohibited Content and Activities
Content restrictions
- Content that promotes illegal activity, hate speech or harassment
- Misleading or deceptive advertising
- Copyright infringement or unauthorised use of anyone's intellectual property
- Content aimed at minors without appropriate safeguards and disclosures
Prohibited activities
- Creating more than one account, or using other people's accounts, to get around our rules
- Manipulating views or engagement by artificial means
- Sharing login details or transferring an account
- Breaking the community guidelines of TikTok, Instagram, YouTube or any other platform you post on
08Intellectual Property Rights
Your content
You keep ownership of your original content. You give Clipping Era and the brand behind each campaign a worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, display and share the content you submit for that campaign, for running the campaign, reporting to the brand and promoting the Platform.
Platform content
Campaign briefs, templates, guides and other material we provide remain ours or the brand's. Do not reproduce or distribute them outside the campaign.
Third-party rights
You must have the right to use any music, images or clips in your content.
09Privacy and Data Protection
We collect and use personal information as described in our Privacy Policy, to run your account, match you with campaigns, pay you, meet legal obligations and prevent fraud.
Identity verification information
When you verify your identity to receive payments, we or our verification provider collect your legal name, date of birth, national ID number, country and address, and images of your identity document. This information is stored encrypted, used only to verify you, pay the right person, meet tax and anti-money-laundering obligations and detect duplicate or fraudulent accounts, and is accessible only to authorised staff. We never sell it.
Creator analytics
Performance data such as view counts is shared with the brand behind a campaign so it can measure the campaign.
10Platform Liability and Disclaimers
Content liability
You are responsible for making sure your content follows disclosure rules, platform policies and the law. We may remove or reject content that does not.
Earnings disclaimer
Past earnings and examples do not guarantee future results. What you earn depends on how your content performs and on campaign budgets.
Availability
We aim to keep the Platform available but cannot promise uninterrupted access. View counts depend on third-party platforms that may change or limit access at any time.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Clipping Era is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amounts paid to you through the Platform in the three months before the claim.
11Account Termination and Suspension
Our rights
We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms, commit fraud, or where the law requires it.
Outstanding payments
Verified earnings on a closed account are paid after a review period of up to 90 days, less any overpayments, penalties or chargebacks.
Closing your account
You can ask us to close your account at any time by emailing teamcreatorsnetwork@gmail.com.
12Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
Talk to us first
Please contact us at teamcreatorsnetwork@gmail.com before starting any formal dispute; most issues can be resolved quickly.
Arbitration
Any dispute arising from your use of the Platform that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved through binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Class action waiver
You agree to bring claims only in your individual capacity and not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative action.
13Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email or in your dashboard, and you will be asked to accept them before you continue using the Platform. Continuing to use the Platform after accepting means you agree to the updated Terms.
